Overview

Musóna respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content on Musóna infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice as described below.

1. Submitting a Takedown Notice

Your DMCA notice must include all of the following:
  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • A description of the material you claim is infringing and its location on Musóna (URL or specific description).
  • Your contact information: name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

3. Response Timeline

We will review all properly submitted DMCA notices and respond within 5 business days. Where infringement is confirmed, we will remove or disable access to the material promptly.

4. Counter-Notices

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the address above. Counter-notices must include: identification of the removed material and its prior location; a statement under penalty of perjury that removal was a mistake or misidentification; your contact information; and your physical or electronic signature. We will forward valid counter-notices to the original complainant.

5. Repeat Infringers

Musóna will terminate accounts of users found to be repeat copyright infringers in appropriate circumstances, consistent with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i).
