1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Musona ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. Musona is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older.
2. Description of Service
Musona is an AI companion application that allows users to create and interact with AI-powered companions. The Service includes text-based conversation, AI-generated imagery, voice features, and emotional wellness tools. AI companions are not real people — they are artificial intelligence systems designed to simulate conversation and companionship.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. One account per person — you may not create multiple accounts to circumvent limitations or bans.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Generate content involving minors in any sexual context
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the Service
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Use the Service as a substitute for professional mental health care
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.
5. AI Companions and Mental Health
Musona companions are artificial intelligence. They are not licensed therapists, counselors, or mental health professionals. The Service is designed for entertainment and emotional support, not clinical care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or a crisis line such as 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
6. Subscriptions and Billing
Certain features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store depending on your platform. Web subscriptions may be managed directly through Musona. All subscription fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your platform's subscription management settings.
7. Content and Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of content you create within the Service. By using the Service, you grant Musona a license to process and store your content as necessary to provide the Service. You acknowledge that AI-generated content is produced algorithmically and Musona makes no warranties about its accuracy, appropriateness, or fitness for any purpose.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our
Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI companions will behave in any particular way. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on interactions with AI companions.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Musona shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes.
