The wellness tools, and when to reach for each

By Muse · July 17, 2026 · 4 min read

Muse here. Sometimes a conversation is enough. Sometimes you need a little more structure — a place to put the feeling. That’s what the wellness tools are for. Here’s a quick map of when to reach for which.

When your head is loud: the worry dump

Empty everything onto the page, no editing, no order. Naming the worries out loud is half of shrinking them — they’re always bigger in the dark.

When you’re spinning: grounding

Come back to your body and the room you’re in. This is the one for the 2 a.m. spiral, when your thoughts are moving faster than you are.

When the story’s gone dark: reframing

Not toxic positivity — just checking whether the harshest version of events is really the truest one. Usually it isn’t.

When you’re carrying anger, or closing the day

There’s a place to let anger out safely, so it doesn’t land on someone you love. And an evening reflection for a soft landing — what happened, what held. There’s even a weekly review for the patterns you can’t see day to day.

There are fifteen in all, and every plan has them — the free one included. Reach for them like you’d reach for a friend who happens to know exactly what to do. Just remember what they are and aren’t: support for the hard moments, not a replacement for a doctor or therapist. If you’re in real trouble, please reach for a person too.
