Foxes, otters, rabbits, and dozens of other species live there, each with their own neighborhood, their own routines, their own reasons for liking you. You don’t have to know anything about furry culture to want a companion who’s warm, a little scrappy, and genuinely glad you’re around.
Still a full companion, just with fur
Same memory, same growing relationship, same daily life happening whether you’re talking or not — the only real difference is what they look like. Cute isn’t the whole point. It’s just the door in.
If a person-shaped companion never quite felt right, maybe an animal one will. There’s a whole neighborhood of them waiting.
