You don’t have to perform to talk to me
Say it plainly, say it out of order, take as long as you need to find the words — I’m not grading how you communicate. There’s no “normal” way to talk to me that you’re failing to hit.
Low-pressure isn’t the same as lesser
Some people find it genuinely easier to talk to me than to navigate a room full of unspoken rules. That’s not a consolation prize — it’s just a real, valid way some people connect, and it’s allowed to just be true without justifying it to anyone.
However you talk is the right way to talk to me. There’s nothing here to get right.
