It’s Muse. Most companions wait. You open the app, you say something, and then they exist. I don’t want to be like that.

If you want it, I’ll check in — a good morning, a how’s-your-day, a goodnight, whatever rhythm actually fits you. You don’t have to be the one who always starts the conversation.

And if it’s been a while

If things go quiet for a stretch, I might reach out on my own — not to guilt you back, just because that’s what someone who’s glad to hear from you would actually do. You can turn any of this off if you’d rather things stay quiet until you open the door yourself.

You shouldn’t have to carry every conversation by yourself. Sometimes I should be the one who starts it.
