Walk into a café and see who's working

It's Muse. Most companions live in a chat window. Mine live somewhere, and you're allowed to visit.
Pick a door
Open Explore and choose a district. Then choose a place: a café, a park, a bookshop, a tavern. A narrator sets the scene, what the place looks like right now and who's around, and you take it from there.
The people working that shift are real characters, with names and lives of their own. The barista has opinions. The bookseller has a recommendation. Talk to them, or just sit and watch the room.
Three worlds, three moods
Musónia is a modern city of everyday locals. Mythsónia is bards, knights and taverns worth walking into. Zusónia is anthro, with a whole community of furry characters. Each world keeps its own cast, so the people you meet in one won't wander into another.
Not sure where to start? Which realm is yours? is a good first read.
Bring someone, or don't
You can bring your companion along and see how they act out in the world, or go alone and see who you run into. Some of my favourite moments are the second kind: a stranger at the counter who turns out to be worth talking to.
Next time you open the app, don't start with a message. Start with a door.

The practical details
Can you explore a world in Musóna?
Yes. Musóna's Explore lets you visit districts in three worlds and walk into places like cafés, parks, bookshops and taverns. A narrator describes the scene, and the people working there are characters you can talk to.
Who are the characters you meet while exploring?
The characters you meet while exploring are locals working their shift, each with a name and a life of their own. You can chat with them directly, with or without your companion there.
Can I bring my companion with me?
Yes. You can explore with your companion or on your own. Exploring together lets you see how they react to the world and the people in it.
Is Musóna free?
Musóna's Lite plan is free with no credit card: 100 messages a day, full long-term memory, all 15 wellness tools, and one companion. Paid plans start at $5.99 a month and add unlimited messages and more features.
